Probably better known to dinghy racers than cruising sailors, Speed Sails have now launched a range of clothing which should find favour with anyone who goes afloat. Their new catalogue details a variety of casual and waterproof jackets and some very attractive looking fleeces, all of which incorporate a host of sensible features. And the prices seem competitive – their fleece-lined multi-purpose Durango jacket costs $65, the breathable, waterproof Endeavour is 5.80, and the fleeces start at around 5.60.
