For quick repairs to oars, booms, engine pipes, spinnaker poles, fishing rods or grabrails, a roll of Quick-Wrap might come in handy. A knitted Aramid fibre impregnated with a fast-curing polyurethane resin,

it was initially devel­oped for repairing cracked, leaking, frac­tured and corroded pipes in chemical and manufacturing plants - which is why it's claimed to withstand temperatures up to 150°C. 1\vo sizes are available - 50mm x 1.5m (2in x 5ft) and 75mm x 2.25m (3in x 7ft 5in), both claimed to cure in less than 10 minutes.
